At Saint Mary’s College our faculty serve as mentors to students, providing support and guidance throughout your educational experience. We believe the application process should reflect that experience. Your graduate admission counselor will assist you from inquiry to enrollment. Our application process is competitive and we are committed to helping you submit your strongest application.

What you will need to apply

Each graduate program has a specific application process and requirements. Generally all graduate program requirements are as follows:

  • A bachelor’s degree from a regionally or nationally accredited college or university, or the international equivalent
  • Application form and application fee
  • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities previously attended
  • Letters of recommendation
  • Official test scores
  • Personal statement
  • Resume or Curriculum Vitae

 

Apply to the Doctorate of Nursing Practice program

Prospective students may apply for the DNP program in one of three tracks: Adult-Gerontology Acute Care (AG-ACNP), Adult-Gerontology Primary Care (AG-PCNP), or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Enrollment for the new DNP cohort begins each fall. Saint Mary’s College uses the Centralized Application Service for Nursing Programs (NursingCAS) application system. Candidates must complete the application form, submit the application fee for NursingCAS (no additional fee is collected by Saint Mary’s), and provide all supporting documents through the NursingCAS application system. Applications completed by January 15, 2017 will receive a decision no later than February 1, 2017. The application deadline is June 15, 2017.

Application Requirements for Doctorate of Nursing Practice

 

Apply to the Master of Science in Data Science program

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, but prospective students are encouraged to apply early in order to increase their chance of admission.  Applications completed by January 15, 2017 will receive a decision no later than February 1, 2017.  The program has a priority deadline of June 15, 2017; applications may only be submitted after this date if seats are available.

Applying Directly to Saint Mary’s College

To submit your application directly to the College, you must complete the application form, submit the application fee of $50 and provide all supporting documents for your application to be considered. Letters of recommendation can be submitted along with the application or mailed directly to Saint Mary’s College at the address below. Transcripts must be sent directly to Saint Mary’s College and cannot be included in your application. Official transcripts may be emailed to graduateadmission@saintmarys.edu or sent directly to the College:

Applying to Saint Mary’s Through PSMCAS

If you are applying to other professional science masters programs, you may wish to apply using PSMCAS, a centralized application service. Using this method, you will complete the PSMCAS application form and submit the appropriate fee to PSMCAS ($125 if this is your first application or $65 if it is an additional application; there is no additional fee charged by Saint Mary’s College).  Letters of recommendation, test scores and official transcripts may be sent to PSMCAS or directly to the College.

Saint Mary’s College uses the Communication Sciences and Disorders Centralized Application Service (CSDCAS) application system. Candidates must complete the application form, submit the application fee for CSDCAS (no additional fee is collected by Saint Mary’s), and provide all supporting documents through the CSDCAS application system. The application deadline is February 1, 2017.
