Why did you pursue this degree?
Communication is something no one should go without. I want to provide clients with the tools for the most functional and effective communication for them.

What was the most rewarding part of the program?
I have learned a lot about myself as a clinician and what areas of the field of speech language pathology I enjoy the most.

Please describe your experience with the faculty.
The faculty have worked closely with me every step of the way to achieve my goals. I was never just another number to them, I was treated as a colleague.

What advice do you have for prospective students?
Do not be afraid to dive head first into any clinic opportunities. You may find it is something you are passionate about.

What was you favorite class and why?
Though a specialized area and combined class, I enjoyed our Augmentative and Alternative Communication course. I learned information and gathered resources that are incredibly valuable. I also think there will be a lot of AAC in our field in the future.

How has the program prepared you for your career?
It has prepared me for an array of different job sites. I feel prepared to work in the schools, in the hospital, with young and older populations.
