Why did you pursue this degree?
It has been my goal to become a DNP since my sophomore year of my undergraduate career. I adored all my undergraduate professors with this degree and felt that obtaining it was the professional direction I needed to take.
What has been the most rewarding part of the program?
Within my graduate program thus far I have found it highly rewarding to build relationships with students from all over the country with different backgrounds. They all work in diverse hospitals and units. I learn so much from my peers, as well as from my coursework.

The faculty not only display kindness but also a willingness and desire to help you succeed! They make themselves available as often as possible to answer any questions you might have with the intention of making us the best DNP and graduate students we can be.
What advice do you have for prospective students?
Prospective students should get a really substantial planner and stay organized!
How has the program prepared you for your career?
So far this program has enhanced my communication abilities as well as my personal understanding of statistical analysis related to medical research.
