Jennifer Jimenez

Faculty Fellow, Department of Nursing Science

"I am excited to be teaching a course in the DNP program that is not offered in other FNP curriculum. St. Mary's provides students with an opportunity to learn about things relevant to nursing that are beyond direct patient care. It is refreshing to teach in a program that embraces change and encourages students and nurse's to use critical thinking and problem solving to achieve great things in their communities and healthcare settings."

I started my teaching career doing psych and community clinical for Purdue University North Central. I also taught an online Holistic Health course for PUNC. I have been a nursing preceptor and mentor for numerous years and have been a preceptor for both FNP and PMHNP students over the last few years.
