Jennifer Essig

Assistant Director of Clinical Education, Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders

"As a practicing speech-language pathologist, I saw firsthand the importance of mentoring and educating new clinicians in the field. I believe that students provide new and fresh approaches to therapy and an enthusiasm for the degree that is invigorating. I am honored to be part of this new program at Saint Mary's not only because of the profound need in our country for speech therapists, but also because it is so crucial to provide a solid foundation for clinical practice. I am excited to work closely with students who I will be able to call my colleagues by the end of their coursework here."
